Paris - Disneyland Hotels
Mini guide to Paris - Disneyland

As a total vacation destination, Disneyland Paris does well, and though it is
emulating its sister parks in the States, it also has a distinct European flavour.
The entire resort is well administered, with world-class hotels and entertainment,
not to mention fantastic rides and a fun-for-all atmosphere.
Disneyland Paris offers 42 attractions, spread over the 56 hectares of its
five lands, the focal point of which is the enchanting Château de la Belle
au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty's Castle). The five themed areas are modelled
on the layout of the American parks and consist of: Main Street USA, Adventureland,
Fantasyland, Discoveryland and Frontierland.
Everything is accessible on foot although to save some time and for a whistle-stop
tour of the park, you can jump on one of the steam trains. As you would expect,
the Disney theme park is full of superb quality entertainment and the De la
Terre à la Lune rollercoaster (From the Earth to the Moon, modelled on
Space Mountain), in the Discoveryland section, is an absolute must for thrill-seekers.
After provoking some of the most controversial reactions in recent French history,
the multimillion-dollar Euro Disney Resort opened in 1992 as one of the world's
most lavish theme parks. In 1994, it unofficially changed its name to Disneyland
Paris and today it is even more popular than the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre
put together.
Besides the park itself, there are many outlying attractions a short drive
away. Champagne-Ardenne province, famous for its champagne, houses and splendid
town architecture, is well worth a visit. Additionally, the French capital,
Paris, is but a short jaunt down the A4 motorway.
The resort is only a stone's throw from the A4 motorway and there is a rail
terminal at the park with direct links to Paris and Lille. Paris' international
airports receive flights from countries the world over and both airports have
direct shuttle bus transfers to the park.
