Cheap Paris - Disneyland Hotels
What to see by car: Paris - Disneyland

If you have plans to spend a bit of time here, as opposed to a day visit to the
park, there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding region,
with historic Champagne to the east and even more historic Paris to the west.
Reims is best known for its cathedral and for champagne. The Cathédrale
Notre Dame is a Gothic masterpiece renowned for its beautiful statues and huge
nave. Nearby Épernay hosts some of the world's leading champagne houses,
and you can tour the Champagne Mercier cellars by electric train. Tours of the
nearby perfume company, Dior, can also be arranged.
Few French provincial cities offer as many sightseeing attractions as the capital
of southern Champagne, Troyes. The Quai Dampierre, a broad boulevard, divides
the city in two, and in the huddle of streets on the east side is the ornate
façade of Cathédrale St Pierre et St Paul.
The rue Roger Salengro is lined with fine 16th century timber and brick houses,
jutting out over the pedestrianised street. There are good museums here too,
including the Museum of Modern Art, which has works by Edgar Degas, Aristide
Maillol and Georges Braque. Also of interest is the Pharmacy Museum, housed
in an 18th century pharmacy.
To come this far and not sample some of the delights of the capital would be
like visiting Disneyland and staying in your hotel room. Paris has many fine
buildings and monuments, ranging from the well-known sights of the Eiffel Tower
and the cathedral of Notre Dame to modern buildings such as the Pompidou Centre
and the glass pyramids in front of the Musée du Louvre.
Stroll along the Right Bank, with its classical architecture and broad boulevards,
and the traditionally bohemian Latin Quarter. Paris boasts a wealth of famous
museums, including the famous Musée du Louvre with its extensive collections.
The city also attracts visitors with its famous restaurants and cafés,
as well as its reputation as one of Europe's fashion capitals and the home of
haute couture.
