The town of Modena is located in the middle of the Po Valley, in one of the most
developed areas on the whole continent, and is situated along the main routes
of the trading traffic between Northern Europe and the Mediterranean Sea. Thanks
to its location, Modena is also a strategic point in the region Emilia Romagna
as well as in the rest of Italy and Europe, and has become an ideal seat for congresses,
entertainments and for pleasant stays in every season.
Driving is undoubtedly one of the best and most adventurous ways of discovering
Italy, especially if you want to explore rural Italy or like the freedom of
movement that only a car can offer. Modena is easily reached by car. From Bologna,
take the A1 northeast until you see the turn-off for Modena.
