Teenage Girl Found Dead in Texas Hotel Room After Celebrating Prom With Friends

A night of fun and excitement ended with a 17-year-old girl being found dead in a Texas hotel room. According to police reports, the girl died just hours after she finished celebrating prom with her classmates and friends.

The police reports say that the boyfriend of the girl, Jacqueline Gomez, called 911 around 11 a.m. on Saturday. The boyfriend can be heard on the call telling the 911 operator that his girlfriend had stopped breathing, and they were located at the Hyatt hotel in Houston. This is a popular hotel that kids stay at after prom.

The hotel records show that the young couple had booked a room at the Hyatt Hotel, where a number of their other friends also booked rooms. The couple had been drinking in their room just before they fell asleep.

Police are in the process of doing an autopsy on the young girl to see if there were any drugs in her system just before her death. Right now it has been suggested via media outlets that the boyfriend may have put something in the girl’s drink just before she fell asleep. However, none of this can be confirmed or denied until after the results of the autopsy come back.

The police did publicly state, however, that the boyfriend is currently not a suspect in their investigation. This is because there were no signs of trauma at all. There were, however, alcohol and some prescription painkillers found in the room.
