Vale do Lobo is Portugal's biggest luxury golf and beach resort. It is embraced
by two national parks of outstanding natural beauty on the beautiful Algarve coastline.

Vale do Lobo is the perfect setting for year round golf. Two beautiful courses,
the Royal Course and the Ocean Course, wind through undulating fairways lined
with umbrella pine, almond, fig and olive trees, down to the Atlantic shoreline

are available at Vale do Lobo, including a tennis academy.
The best way to see the whole of the Algarve is by car, and most towns and
beaches have easy access via the main N125 highway. To the west of Vale do Lobo
lies the busy town of Portimao with its bustling markets, excellent shopping
and superb choice of fine dining. A little farther to the west is the administrative
capital of the Algarve and picturesque sea port town of Lagos.
The modern N2 highway from Lisbon connects with the N125 Algarve road. There
are three trains daily from the southern Lisbon town of Barreiro, taking about
five hours. Faro Airport is 20kms to the east; if you're not on a package holiday
with a free transfer, take a taxi, which is a lot quicker than the bus.
