Travelling to Birmingham Airport

Birmingham International Interchange is situated on the West Coast Main Line and is served by over 200 regional and intercity trains per day, and is linked to the airport's passenger terminals by a free Skyrail train operating every two minutes with the journey taking under two minutes. Trains into the city centre, stopping at Birmingham New Street Station, take 10-15 minutes and leave 6-7 times an hour.

An efficient and reliable bus service picks passengers up in front of the Main Terminal. The 900 bus leaves every 20-30 minutes for central Birmingham's Digbeth station, which is a major hub for National Express coach network with services to most parts of the UK. They also provide inter-airport Flightlink coaches. All services also call at Birmingham International Interchange for connections with rail services and to serve the National Exhibition Centre. Travel West Midlands operate an exact fare policy and the driver cannot give change.

Birmingham International Airport is on the A45 Coventry Road, 8 miles east of Birmingham City Centre and only one mile from junction 6 of the M42. There are direct connections to the M1, M5, M6 and M40. It is well sign posted.
