Travelling to Bristol

Bristol International Airport boasts a new terminal, with both international
and domestic connections. The airport is located just off the A38, only 11 km
from the city centre. Good rail and coach connections mean that Bristol can
also easily reached from London's main airports, Gatwick and Heathrow.
There are two mainline railway stations in Bristol, Temple Meads and Parkway.
Temple Meads serves the city centre and Parkway the northern suburbs.
British Rail has frequent train services from London Paddington Station to
each of the two main stations. The journey time from London is about 1 ½
hours. From here you can travel onwards to Wales.
Marlborough Street Bus Station is served both by National Express and Bakers
Dolphin, with regional and local services provided by First Coach company. National
Express has buses that depart London Victoria Coach Station every hour during
the day, with journey times of 2 ½ hours.
Bristol lies at the crossroads of the M4 and M5 motorways, within easy reach
of London, Birmingham, the South West and South Wales. Bristol is roughly 200
km away from London.
