Travelling to Coventry
    
Coventry has two airports access points: Coventry Airport and Birmingham International
Airport. Coventry Airport offers regular executive charter and helicopter services
to UK and European destinations, such as Belfast, Brussels, Cologne, Edinburgh
and Paris. There are no bus connections to the airport, but the airport is located
only 3 miles away from Coventry Railway Station and access via taxi is fast
and reasonable.
Birmingham International Airport is roughly 20 minutes away from central Coventry,
and is an ideal gateway, servicing daily flights from all over Scotland, Ireland,
London and the South West of England, as well as servicing 40 European destinations
and other international cities. Gatwick and Heathrow airports are within a two
hour drive from Coventry.
Coventry is on the Main West Coast Line and Coventry Railway Station offers
regular and frequent trains to London Euston Station (journey times: 1½
hours), and Birmingham (journey times: 30 minutes). The rail network is extensive
and efficient, with good links to other major towns and cities, as well as local
towns.
Coventry is easily accessible by car, with direct links to the M6, M40, M42,
M5, and M69 motorways, with the A45 and the A46 being the main arterial roads
into the city centre. The distance to London is about 100 miles and Birmingham
is 25 miles away.
National Express runs coach services to the region from all around the country.
The service from London to Coventry takes about two hours.
