Travelling to East Midlands Airport
 
The railway stations of Loughborough, Long Eaton, Nottingham and Derby are
all located just a short bus or taxi ride from the airport. A shuttle bus provides
a direct connection between the airport and Long Eaton and Loughborough railway
stations, from where you can board local or intercity services to cities across

Flightlink operates regular bus services to and from East Midlands Airport
from Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick.
Services to Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and surrounding villages are also available.
All buses leave from outside the arrivals terminal.
The airport is easy to get to by car, situated close to the north-south M1
motorway. From Nottingham, take the A52 west before joining the M1 southbound,
then exit at Junction 24 from where signs will lead you to the airport. From
Leicester, the A6 takes you north to Junction 24 of the M1 and again just follow
the signs. From Derby take the A50 southbound to the intersection with Junction
24 of the M1.
Taxis are available from the Taxi Office outside the arrivals area 24 hours
a day (01332 814 000). Set fares include Loughborough £16, Derby £22,
Nottingham £24, Leicester £28 and Manchester £120.
The airport offers short, medium and long-term parking. Short-term parking
is located close to the terminal and can be paid by credit card at several pay
stations. The medium stay car park (up to four days) is within walking distance
of the terminal but a free shuttle bus also operates regularly. The long-stay
car park is located a short distance from the airport grounds and is connected
to the terminal by free shuttle bus. Pre-booking a long stay car park space
can reduce costs considerably (tel: 0870 606 7050).
