Travelling to Leeds Bradford Airport
The Airlink Bus Service 757 connects the airport with Leeds City Railway Station
every half hour during peak times and every hour at all other times daily, with
the journey taking 20-30 minutes. From here trains can be caught to destinations
nationwide as well as local destinations on the West Yorkshire line. Buses depart
from Stand 4 at Leeds bus station and from Stand S11 outside the train station
(tel: (0)113 245 7676). There is also a regular bus service between the airport
and Bradford City Centre Transport Interchange.
The airport is well signposted from the M1 and M62 motorways as well as on the
Yorkshire section of the A1. If coming from Leeds, follow the signs for Yeadon
and Otley along the A660 before turning onto the A658 just after Bramhope. From
Bradford, take the A658 out of the city towards Yeadon and Guiseley.
Taxis are available outside the main arrivals hall, with several different
companies represented.
Both the short- and long-term car parks at the airport have recently won the
prestigious Secured Car Park Award for 2003. The short-term car park is within
comfortable walking distance of the terminal while a courtesy bus operates between
the long-term car park and the terminal from 6am-10pm seven days a week. Passengers
should pay for car parking on return to their vehicle; payment stations can
be found in the arrivals and departures concourse areas, where upon payment
you will be given a valid exit card. Sentinel Security Car Park in nearby Yeadon
provides off-site car parking.
