Travelling to Luton Airport
It is a short shuttle ride (two kilometres, leaving from Bay 1) to Luton Parkway
train station from where you can board the Luton Flyer to London's Kings Cross
Thameslink Station. Trains depart every half-hour and the journey takes around
The Greenline 757 coach leaves from Bays 10-12 on an express service to central
London and the West End. It departs hourly and the journey can take upwards
of 90 minutes. National Express Coaches leave from Bays 4-6 and offer frequent
services to most major destinations in the UK, including Birmingham, Cambridge,
East Midlands, Manchester, Liverpool and other London airports. Local bus services
operate frequent local areas services leaving from Bays 8-9.
The airport is simple to reach by car, situated just two miles from Junction
10 of the M1, which takes you north up to the Midlands and south directly into
North London. The journey typically takes an hour to complete and is well sign
posted. The M1 also gives access to the M25 ring road (15 minutes) that surrounds
London and provides access to all major national routes.
Taxis are available at the front of the terminal building and can be pre-booked
through Black Cab London (0800 169 5296 from the UK or 1-877 405 7622 from the
Short-, mid- and long-stay parking is available, with the short-stay car park
a short walk from the terminal. Executive parking is located adjacent to the
short-stay car park and is connected to the terminal via an undercover walkway.
Mid- and long-stay car parking is connected to the terminal by a courtesy shuttle
bus. Payment can be made by credit card at the exit or at several payment stations.
