Travelling to Windsor

Windsor, only 21 miles west of London, is easily accessed by motorway, rail
and coach links from the capital.
If you are driving, simply take the M4 west and exit at junction 6, near Slough.
You can also approach from Maidenhead or Staines using the A308.
Alternatively, Windsor has two stations receiving trains from London Paddington
(changing at Slough and arriving at Windsor and Eton Central station) and London
Waterloo stations (direct, arriving at Windsor and Eton Riverside station).
Both stations are within easy walking distance of the town centre, five minutes
apart in fact. Departures are twice hourly (duration: 30 minutes).
Coaches leave Hyde Park Corner in London several times per day; the journey
takes approximately one and a half hours. National Express, the national carrier
has connections to nearby towns and onwards to all other destinations in Britain,
usually via London Victoria Coach station.
